Why hello there, my name is Rye and I have a confession, can you keep a secret? I have had a deep LOVE & passion for clothing since a VERY young age. Not even kidding, my room as a kid looked like a hur-RYE-cane came through because I always changed my outfits at least 5 times a day, and sometimes still do. *teehee* Much to my families annoyance, but I guess some bad habits can be turned into something positive with the right perspective.
Growing up as a creative child, it was really important to me to constantly express myself - and I know that clothing is one of the best ways to do so. Going through many years, and themes - from bohemian, old money, punk rock, street, etc etc etc trust me, the list will go on and I have photos to prove it. I fell in love with the person you become and transform to be by what you wear that day.
Starting in 2021, I moved in with my boyfriend and quickly realized my closet was NOT going to be big enough for the two of us, and I had to make a decision (yes, my boyfriend won that battle) I listed some of my clothes on Facebook marketplace and almost immediately was selling pieces left and right, as much as this hurt my heart, it also made me over the moon seeing how some of these clothes gave new life to milestones in other people’s lives. Some of which who still shop at Rye Bell to this day.
